Indeed! Would the GPA 902 on a small horn be a good choice here?

By the time you pad the 902 ~flat, you'll have to pad the 290 too. Kind of a waste. Then there's max output. Doing 118dB smoothly ain't easy, so you'll end up limiting the 290 to the 902 pre-distortion level, losing several dB of potential dynamic headroom. Another giveaway.

Now a vertical line array of 902s on mini MRs might get it... Anybody got half a dozen to play with? :lollipop:

On the Great Plains Audio web site their's only one horn advertized The MR 931-12. What happened to the other larger CD horns?
